Juliana hits studio
After only two years of not staging music concerts due to the Covid-19 pandemic, many artistes lost it. They run to Gulu where they sought audience with General Salim Saleh for handouts. Juliana Kanyomozi has however not held a concert in the last eight years, and she has managed to remain calm.
She is set to break that resolve on August 19, when she performs at Kampala Serena Hotel in a concert titled Boundless. She has been performing at private functions such as birthday parties. For the last couple of years, Juliana has avoided drama and save for the questionable birthday wishes on a billboard, she has maintained quiet.
She is now upbeat. “I am practicing and rehearsing with a band. I am giving it my whole,” she says. She is not worried about failing to hit the high notes, for she believes practice makes perfect.
“I have been away, taking care of other aspects of my life,” she says, without delving into details. But we know the other aspects of her life include taking care of her son, Taj, whose face she has kept off social media. We are however not sure whether she is also taking care of the baby daddy who she never reveals to the public.
“People are going to see a Juliana they have never seen before. It will be a night of great music and I will sing as many songs as I can possibly sing in one evening,” says Juliana.
Juliana has also revealed that she is currently recording new songs.
