Police: Don’t habour merciless woman who poisoned co- wife with injection
Police in Wakiso are hunting for a cold-hearted woman who is currently on the run for injecting her alleged rival with a substance laced with poison.
The suspect Namubiru Jackie attacked her husband’s lover, identified as Nakimera Lydia 23, a resident of Lwanzi “B” cell, Mutukula Town Council in Kyotera district, last month.
Fred Enanga, the Uganda Police Spokesperson said on Tuesday that Namubiru stormed into Nakimera’s saloon in the same area, accusing Nakimera of stealthily serving her beans to her husband, Dominic.
The suspect went on to use syringe she had in in her possession to inject her on the neck.

Enanga says Namubiru swiftly fled the scene as her co- wife collapsed to the ground. He says Nakimera was taken to Bulamu clinic and later to Byansi’s clinic in Masaka City but her condition worsened until she died.
“The victim was rushed to Bulamu clinic, the situation worsened and she was transferred to Byansi’s clinic in Masaka City in very critical condition where she died from the poisonous substance on the 23.04.2023 at around 6:30pm,” Enanga said.
Enanga has warned members of the public against habouring Namubiru who is now considered a criminal.
“The suspect is now on the run and we want to caution relatives and friends that if you are found harbouring Namubiru who is a wanted murder suspect, there are offences for people who keep a wanted criminal. We have put up a serious hunt for her and will bring her to book.”
