Balamuka Primary School located in Kamuli, Buzaaya County on a section of 8 acres of land with just 2 classroom blocks, government-aided and owned by the Church of Uganda holds a special place in the hearts of the local community.

However, over time the school has faced infrastructure challenges that have hindered the learning experience for students and teachers.

Aligned with Rotary International’s 7 areas of focus which include; Peace and conflict prevention/resolution, Disease prevention and treatment, Water and sanitation, Maternal and child health, Basic education and literacy, Economic and community development, and Supporting Environment.

The 7 by 7 project challenge, was put together by District Governor Mike Kennedy Sebalu of D9213 for the Rotary Imagine year 2022-2023 where 7 clubs partner and tackle all the 7 areas in one community.
