Galaxy FM is proud to announce this year’s Zzina Awards will take place on 8th February 2024. The award ceremony shall be held at the IUEA Auditorium located in Kansanga along Ggaba Road.


A total of 20 awards shall be handed out in an action-packed day that will include awarding Uganda’s best talent, celebrity interviews, red carpet glamor and performances from the hottest artists.

There is a total of 20 categories to be awarded this year and these are:

Breakthrough Artist
Best Male Artist
Best Female Artist
Best Collaboration
Best Producer
Best Comedy Content Creator
Best Song Writer
Best Afro Beat Song
Best Contemporary Urban Artist
Best Contemporary Urban Song
Best Dancehall Artist
Best Dancehall Song
Best LugaFlow/Rap Artist
Best LugaFlow/Rap Song
Best Fans Team
Best Inspirational Song
Sports Personality Of The Year
Legend Award
Nominations will be done via the Galaxy FM social media platforms on Instagram, X (formerly known as Twitter) and Facebook. Fans can nominate by commenting under a post for a particular award category.

The full list of nominees will be revealed on 19th January 2024 with online voting beginning immediately after. Fans will be able to vote on www.galaxyfm.co.ug/awards till 7th February at 11:59 PM E.A.T.
The recipients for the “Legend Award” and “Sports Personality Of The Year Award” shall be determined by the Zzina Awards Committee.


Galaxy TV shall provide exclusive coverage of the day’s events including pre-awards, red carpet arrival and award ceremony.
