The National Bureau for Non-Governmental Organizations [NGO Board] has today discarded the infamous foundation belonging to the ailing Kampala city socialite and self-proclaimed tycoon Bryan Kirumira on grounds that it is a fraud manned by one man.
The NGO board has revealed that the foundation has been banned with immediate effect and its license to operate canceled.
Kampala socialite Bryan Kirumira aka Bryan White officially registered the Bryan white foundation with the NGO board in January 2019.
Patrick Onen Ezaga, the Senior Communication Officer of the NGO Board while holding a presser at the Uganda media center, says the decision was reached at after investigations revealed that it was registered with the wrong motive.
Bryan white‘s woes started when a handful of girls employed under his foundation publicly alleged that they were sexually abused, and forced to carry out abortions by Bryan white,
This compelled the involvement of the Human rights committee of parliament that launched an inquiry into Bryan white’s hidden motives under the foundation.
The findings revealed that Bryan white was running the foundation alone minus a board of directors and wasn’t carrying out the duties it was registered to do like supporting orphans, widows and youths.
Ezaga also says as, for his sexual abuse allegations, Bryan white will be pinned by other appropriate organs as an individual and not the organization.
