Renowned Ugandan multi-talented singer, Azawi has released a surprise new track titled, “Talking Stage,” an emotionally charged track that dropped today, on all major streaming platforms with no teasers, just music straight from her heart.

The release could mark the beginning of something far more personal: A collection of Azawi’s Lost files as once promised through her social media post.

‘‘I write my stories, my pains, my joys in songs. My songs are my diaries. I have about 200 journal notes that turned into music but that music never made it to my albums. I will randomly be dropping those journals. Should we start with Pain?, Love?, Vibes? Or Groove?’’

“Talking Stage” paints a raw and honest picture of love in limbo, the confusing space between flirting and commitment, where feelings deepen but clarity fades. It’s the kind of emotional storytelling Azawi is known for, only this time it’s even more vulnerable. These could be the songs that never saw the light until now.

With Talking stage, Azawi reconnects with her core audience by leaning into vulnerability and shared human experience.
“Talking Stage” is the beginning of her random journal shares. It’s out now on Spotify, Apple Music and all major streaming platforms.
