A week ago, a video of Swangz Avenue songstress Winnie Nwagi performing for St. Marys’ College Kisubi students went viral on the internet.

However, the video did not go well with the audiences as many rushed to lash her for dressing inappropriately and pulling erotic moves infront of students.

It is also reported that a number of parents logged in their complaints to the school administration showing their disatisfaction with the songstresses’ conduct.

Now Swangz Avenue, a record label she is signed to has apologised on her behalf through their social media platforms. Their apology read, “We deeply regret the inappropriate performance by Winnie Nwagi at St Mary’s College Kisubi on July 13th. We have investigated the incident and measures have been put in place to avoid a repeat of the same.

This was a huge error in judgment and both the Artist and the management team acknowledge the pain and mistrust caused by this incident. We apologize to the general public, parents of the students in attendance and the school Administration.

Management,
Swangz Avenue.”
