KAMPALA, UGANDA

Bobi Wine failed to reach out to his supporters in Mbale where he was expected to address them on a local radio.

Police blocked the National Unity Party nominee and Kyadondo East legislator Robert Kyagulanyi (Bobi Wine) from appearing a local radio on Saturday.

Police asked Bobi and his entourage to return to Kampala claiming that they did not authorise the radio appearance.

The NUP chief then took to social media to pour out his anger on social media after videos of Koboko Municipality legislator and minister of state for investment Evelyn Anite’s supporters carrying out a procession at the heart of the town.

Bobi posted: “As I was being blocked from appearing on a radio, this is what politicians aligned with the regime are doing this! CITIZENS, we must and shall fight on, until all Ugandans are equal in rights and dignity.”
