Contrary to the reports that have made rounds on social media since yesterday evening, we can highly confirm that singer Rema Namakula is still the Ambassador of JESA Diary company.
Initial reports suggested that JESA top bosses had refused to renew Rema’s contract after the two parties failed to find a common ground.
It was alleged that after the negotiation flopped, the bosses decided to show Mukyala Musaawo the exit door and immediately replaced her with TNS’s queen Karma, Sheebah Karungi.
Well it turns out that all that was hot air! The Diary company has through its Facebook page trashed the rumor in an official statement.
“…JESA would like to state that we have not dropped Rema as an Ambassador. We have a wonderful working relationship with this brilliant Ugandan artiste and look forward to continue this partnership for the foreseeable future…”, the statement shared partly reads.
Rema has been the face of JESA for past few years, cashing in handsomely.
