A few days back Forbes Magazine Africa released a list of richest musicians in Africa and East African region. According to the list, Forbes ranked NUP darling H.E Bad Bobi Wine as the wealthiest with a net worth of $7.2 Million (Shs25 Billion).

Tanzanian Bongo Flava artiste Diamond Platnumz was placed in the second position with $6.7 million (Shs 23 Billion) and in third place was Uganda’s legendary star Jose Chameleone with a net worth of $6.2 million (Shs 21 Billion).

Bobi’s recent fortune is attributed to the fact that he entered active and elective politics where he has earned billions for the last three years.

Diamond and Chameleone’s source has been garnered from their music sales.

However Diamond isn’t certified with Forbes rankings. He believes he is more loaded than Bobi Wine by far given his recent fortunes both musically and commercially across the African continent and beyond.

The Boy From Tandale has since bashed Forbes authenticity and asked the Magazine to carry out more research via his Instagram.
