Love makes the world go round. It’s the reason many of us live, really, it makes the days brighter and it makes everything else feel alright.

But, have you ever wondered if love is the same for a high-flying celebrity? I mean, isn’t there a reason celebrity Celebrity Couples don’t last?

Surely, having to deal with treating your relationship as a source of income differs from a normal relationship; photo-shoots, not risking unflattering candid, having to update your fans. It must be exhausting, and it makes the shorter relationships much more understandable.

Geoffrey Lutaaya and Irene Namatovu;

Singer cum politician, Geoffrey Lutaaya and Irene Namatovu have been together for over ten years and just by looking at it, you would never tell. The two are still so all over each other that it makes everybody around them uncomfortable (but in a good way). Lutaaya is now a full Member of Parliament representing Kakuuto. He and wife have 3 kids together.

Bobi Wine and Barbie Itungo;

This inspirational couple is a definition of soulmates! They have weathered the storm together all through. Bobi and Barbie are legally married. One might think that is has always been rosy for them since they have never thrown their dirty linen to the public. God has blessed them with a stable family and four healthy kids.

Jose Chameleone and Daniella Atim;

Recently this celebrity couple celebrated 13th wedding anniversary. Chameleone took to his social and penned a heartfelt message to Daniella.

He wrote; “I wish to express my gratitude of you being there for me even in the hardest times, being a a good friend, Companion and above all a great mother not only to our children but to everyone. On this day 13 years ago we celebrated one of the greatest sacraments of faith – Marriage and this has been a great day we shall always have in memory. Words can’t express my love for you but I deeply appreciate you coming into my life. May God continue to guide us all. Happy 13th Wedding Anniversary.” Chameleone bought a mansion for Daniella in US in 2018 where she is currently living with their kids. The music legend often flies out to meet them.

Bebe Cool and Zuena;

Bebe Cool and Zuena have never been ashamed of being publicly intimate and to date, are still seen together almost all the time. The duo has four kids and are even incredible parents! Talk about couple goals! With their new music video- Make A Wish, clearly, it is evident that Bebe and Zue are meant to be. In 2008 Zuena threatened to dump the singer but later she returned home after working out their differences. They have been together for over 15 years now.

Ronald Mayinja and Aisha Nakyeyune;

Ronald Mayinja has always come across as the player of the trio but what always canceled it was his utter devotion to his wife Aisha. Now married for 16 wonderful years, the two have always been that couple everybody knew would make it in the long run.

Ragga Dee and Mariam Kazibwe;

Ragga Dee, a celebrated musician and his wife, Mariam Kazibwe, grew up in the same neighborhood. Many years later, their affection evolved into a love affair. On January 19, 2008, Raga Dee and Mariam decided to formalise their marriage at Namirembe Cathedral and later hosted their guests at Serena Hotel. His reception was the first to be held at the hotel when they changed its name from the then Nile Hotel.

Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi and Silvia Nabagereka;

According, to press reports the royal couple met in the USA in 1993 where the Kabaka had gone to shop for his upcoming coronation, while the Queen was already working and a resident there. It was later that year when Nnabagereka had returned to work in the country that the relationship was sealed.

This became the first royal wedding Ugandans were witnessing in 50 years and it excited not only Baganda subjects but other tribes across the country.

On 27 August, 1999, thousands flocked Namirembe Cathedral to witness the reunion. And for those who could not make it, they followed keenly on a live broadcast on UTV (now UBC TV).
