Bush war hero Pecos Kutesa was a warrior, bookman and patriot according to his comrades.

UPDF announced last night that Pecos Kutesa died in India where he had been taken for specialized treatment after a couple of days in Nairobi Hospital.

Bush war hero Pecos’ comrades continue to pour on to social media platform Twitter to mourn with the family and the army which he served for decades.

Last night, Generals; Elly Tumwine who served as National Resistance Army NRA army commander and Jim Muhwezi took to their social media handles to reach out to their fallen comrades family soon after the news of his passing on filtered everywhere.

They were followed by Dr. Kizza Besigye, a former bush war personal doctor to then NRA chief Yoweri Kaguta Museveni who has since opposed the ruling regime.

Dr. Besigye, four time Presidential candidate for his Forum for Democratic Change FDC party, described bush war fighter Pecos Kutesa as a ‘soldier par excellence and a bookman’ in his condolence message to the fallen compatriote.

Lt. Gen. Henry Tumukunde is a bush war hero who joined the army in 1981 and with his NRA as 111 joined Dr. Kizza Besigye Wednesay morning in mourning the passing of Pecos Kutesa.

Tumukunde hailed bush war fighter Pecos Kutesa as ‘a true patriot who gave his all for the country’.

The former head of Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence CMI, minister of security and recently a Presidential candidate, mourned.
