Bubbly TV presenter, Sheilah Gashumba, has also added her voice onto a section of people, who are trashing Uganda Musician Association (UMA) presidential candidates, Cindy Sanyu and King Saha.

Sheilah Gashumba, through her Twitter handle, berated and rendered Cindy and Saha incompetent to lead fellow musicians.

“I personally think no one is competent to be the President of the Ugandan Music Association on this list. Anyways it’s just my opinion!!” She tweeted.

Seemingly on a mission to expose incumbent, Cindy, the more, the self-styled Lil Stunner, who doubles as an entertainment pundit, said that the previous leadership did little or nothing to push Ugandan music beyond borders.

“Asides that, what has the last regime of UMA done for the musicians? Both locally and putting artists on a global scale!! I doubt any of the past regime or the ones contesting has At least 5 big global contacts in the music business or music industry in Africa or the world!” The 27-year-old added.

Both Cindy and King Saha are yet to respond to Sheilah’s comment.

Meanwhile, UMA had scheduled the voting process for new leaders on Monday, May 23, 2022, but on Friday, King Saha, through his lawyers, Lukwago & Co. Advocates, filed a formal complaint to the UMA electoral commission challenging the voting processes.

Today, Saturday, the UMA Electoral committee has responded to King Saha’s plea by postponing the elections to June 6, 2022.
