Musician Pallaso has been one of the finest musicians in the country in the past three years.

Within that period, he has had the highest number of hits in rotation, won music accolades, made that money and of course, made a lot of haters, one of them being Events promoter, Andrew Mukasa alias Bajjo.

Bajjo, through a series of interviews, attacked Pallaso, predicting his blossoming career to take a nose dive and that the self-styled King Of The East will no longer be relevant. Bajjo faults Pallaso for charging an eye-watering fee for booking, per show.

Due to the continued demand for his services, Pallaso, however, explains that once again, his booking rates have increased.

While in an interview with Kasuku, Pallaso revealed that his brand has changed over the years and now deserves some lift. He revealed that currently, he has increased his asking prices from Shs10m to about Shs15m to Shs20m because he has invested quite a lot in his art.

With that fee, he is undoubtedly the most expensive artist to hire in the country currently. Established colleagues in the game like Eddy Kenzo, Chameleone and Bebe Cool, are way below him now because they charge less than that amount.

“We are no longer charging 10 million. We are now charging fifteen to twenty million for a performance,” he noted.

Pallaso, who is Chameleone’s kid bro, further explained that he decided to increase his charges because he has worked hard and created good works that music fans widely appreciate.
