Express FC 4-0 Soana

6-time Super League winners, Express FC have thumped Soana 4-0 this evening at Wankulukuku to boost relegation survival hopes.

Jalilu Zimula gave Express FC an early lead in 14th minute after dodging Soana left back Isa Mubiru before calmly finishing past goalkeeper Joel Mutakubwa.

Michael Birungi added a second seven minutes later with a chip to give Express a 2-0 advantage in the first half.

A calm Express FC started second half and it took only 15 minutes for Birungi to add a third goal for the Wankulukuku based side after converting a well delivered cross from Zimula moments after striker Alfred Leku had missed to get contact on the ball.

The final strike came from on form Ayubu Kisaliita, who finished home a free kick after Soana defenders failed to clear the ball in their box.

Birungi was given a standing ovation as he paved way for the young talented Billy Nkata who was making his senior debut. With less than 8 minutes to stoppage time a promising Billy Nkata mesmerized the fans with Ronaldinho-like skills.

Express thus displaces Masavu in 14th position with 9 games remaining. Soana suffer their 9th loss of the season and remain with 24 points in 11th position.
