6-time league winners, Express Football Club have registered their first home of the season after defeating KCCA FC 3-2 this evening at Mutesa II Stadium – Wankulukuku.
Michael Birungi, a former KCCA FC player, gave Express FC an early lead in 16th minute which saw Mukwano Gwa’bangi end first half with a lead.
Few minutes at the beginning of second half, Allan Kyambadde 51 scored an equalizer for KCCA FC in 51st minute but Eric Kambale and Disen Galiwango restored Express FC lead with two goals in 67 and 75 minutes consecutively.
Express FC controlled the game until 78th minute when Allan Okello scored a second goal for KCCA FC but Kefa Kisala’s boys held on to win the game 3-2.
A 3-2 win means KCCA Fc have lost their first game of the season and Express have registered their first win against the ‘Kasasiro Boys’ at Wankulukuku in eight years.
