University of Kisubi are away to Mbarara University Of Science and Technology in their first game with Kabenge confident that his team will put on a good show.

“Yes iam coaching UNIK in the University Football League and was actually with them in the December AUUS games where we stopped in group stages winning one fame against Gulu university but losing to the eventual finalists Uganda Christian University and Islamic University In Uganda” Kabenge said.

Kabonge is a celebrated coach who is a specialist in guiding teams from the Big league to the Premier League doing so for Masavu Fc, Onduparaka Fc and Paidha Black Angels.

On the other hand, MUST who have played in the Pepsi University Football League for several years are fancying their chances this season due to the new competition format according to coach Kyagambidwa Muhammad.

“Our group has Kyambogo University but it also has Kabale and UNIK who are new to the league and if we play well, we can possibly be among the best three placed teams,” Kyagambidwa said.
