Odonga Otto is coming to terms with losing VIP status as Member of Parliament.

Odonga Otto lost the Aruu seat in January 14 elections to Independent candidate, Christopher Komakech.

The former legislator took to Twitter to update his 3968 followers how he trekked from Namasuba to the city after his VIP status.

President Yoweri Museven a fortnight ago imposed a-42-day lockdown across the country to fight the deadly second wave of Covid-19.

Among the restrictions President Museveni imposed included ‘no use of private cars’ unless one is an essential worker.

The Ministry of Works was tasked with the duty of providing stickers to the essential works.

He reminded his followers that he ‘walked to work’ to look for food for his children.

The former legislator tweeted: “The last time I did this kind of walk was during “walk to work” from Namasuba to City Center. Today I did it again but for necessity ‘the children have to eat’.”

Otto added: “3 cars are parked at home and no idea where/why to get clearance. Glad the police at Clock Tower asked someone to give me a lift.”
