Legendary singer Jose Chameleone earlier this year announced that he would drop his highly anticipated album, “I am Joseph” on November 9 this year, but we have received fresh info that the album release is most likely to be postponed.

The reason for the postponement is unclear but we have received information that the legend is afraid of competing for space for the young musicians like Azawi that have dropped the albums this year.

Jose Chameleone is aware of the dominance the younger musicians have on the internet and therefore he thinks holding on is a better option rather than becoming a laughing stock when the album fails to get the attention. “Chameleone doesn’t want to release music when the industry is crowded with many albums. He wants his music to get the undivided attention it deserves. He doesn’t want to join the fray, hence the postponement. He is aware of the dominance of these young musicians when it comes to the internet where these albums are sold,” says our source.

However, other Insiders in the Leone island camp say the singer decided to delay the release because he has a medical operation scheduled soon. Chameleone has been battling liver-related complications for years.

A new date is yet to be communicated. We shall keep you posted.
