Big Eye puts Bobi Wine on spot as he calls him out to tell his supporters to stop pelting him with bottles on stage

Singer Ibrahim Mayanja, popularly known as Big Eye, was on Sunday pelted with water bottles the moment he stepped on stage to perform for revelers at the Galaxy FM Etteta festival at Jahazi Pier in Munyonyo.

This was not the first time that Big Eye had been pelted with water bottles while on stage performing.

In January 2020, the hoarse-voiced singer was pelted with bottles during fellow artiste Hadijah Namukwaya alias Spice Diana’s concert at Freedom City.

At the time Big Eye claimed to have developed high blood pressure because of the incident and was quickly rushed to hospital.

History repeated itself on Sunday during Galaxy FM’s Etteta festival and as a consequence, his performance was cut short by security.

Just to put the record straight, Big Eye has come out and claimed that he’s being persecuted for political reasons. He believes the people who keep throwing bottles at him are Bobi Wine supporters.

As a result the ‘indicator’ hit maker has taken to his Facebook page and asked Bobi Wine to tell his supporters to stop mistreating him while on stage.

“Now which kind of Uganda doesNational Unity Platform want if your selves can not practice democracy. Which wrong did i do to supportYoweri Kaguta Museveni andNational Resistance Movement – NRM? . I challenge you HonBobi Wine if you believe in democracy to come out and speak to your supporters and tell them to separate music from politics. Let them stop attacking me when performing on stage. On stage am doing my official Job. Its now scaring my promoters and partners in the business and affecting my carrier.#FreeMe,” Big Eye posted. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jCraslIdHzg
