Music legend, Jose Chameleone, Bobi Wine and Bebe Cool have inspired the current crop of artists in Uganda to do music but Geosteady ain’t among them… and he is out here setting the record straight!

Geosteady claims that one artist who has greatly influenced and inspired him is none other than the 2023 Grammy Award ‘Best Global Music Performance’ nominee, Eddy Kenzo.

The RnB singer has taken to twitter to hail Eddy Kenzo and give him his flowers when he is still alive.

“If you didn’t know, @eddykenzoficial is my greatest living inspiration from Day one . He’s a true leader, teacher, and hard worker. He has a vision, open-minded, creative, and exemplary to all artists of the Ugandan music generations,” Geosteady tweeted.

Geosteady and Kenzo have a history together dating back in 2014. The Sembera star is among the artists who were once signed under Kenzo’s Big Talent Entertainment.

However, in 2016, the BTE boss knifed him together with the likes of Tip Swizz over indiscipline.

Speaking about the knifing, Geosteady confirms that indeed they fell out with Kenzo after failing to turn up at shows where they were supposed to perform. He faults the incident on poor miscommunication.

“It was poor communication between management and the singers, nothing else.”

“We were dismissed because we did not perform at shows, but see, we were never informed about the shows in time,” he said.

Geosteady also revealed that they never had any form of binding agreement with Big Talent.
