Known in the entertainment circles as the songwriter behind most of singer Eddy Kenzo’s recent hit songs, Oma Afrikana is determined to step out of the Big Talent boss’ shadow and do his own thing- sing!

Signed under Black Magic Entertainment, a record label which introduced the likes of John Blaq and Martha Mukisa to music lovers, Oma Afrikana has released visuals for his single, Kyakala, off his highly billed Threesome Extended Play (EP). One striking thing about the beautiful visual is Oma’s dance moves. Dude does almost everything like Kenzo!

Lyrically, Oma keeps things as simple as the song has a couple of outstanding lines like “Kyakala nga gweno wo’bikola, Omuziki gu nkubira mu mutima.”

With this single- Kyakala, the Afro Pop’s Oma waltzes his way towards fame with his unique soft voice and corny lines that might turn the song into a club anthem.

He settles for two locations; an indoor scene and an outdoor scene. And he limits the interaction to two people; the vixen and him. And together, they work their magic. One senses that comfort, that connection between the two.

The Kyakala was produced and mixed by Steyn, real name Owori Isaac, a brain behind Kenzo and Matt B’s Grammy Award nominated song, Gimmie Love.
