God damn! Entertainment industry has lost some one irreplaceable in singer, Moses Ssekibogo Nakitinjje aka Mowzey Radio. A great vocalist, lyricist, songwriter – in plain language a talented singer.

His magical voice could turn simple words into great memories. Radio (name coined from Butiki College by his mates who referred to him as their radio), who started his music career in Jose Chamili’s Leone Island has whatever it takes to be regarded as a legendary artist.

In 2007, him together with Chamili’s kid bro, Wizzo and OS teamed up and recorded ‘Nakudatta’, a song which brought them into the limelight.

However, in 2008 they parted ways with Chamili and formed their own Record label, Good Lyf then managed by Jeff Kiwa. Since then, Radio and Wizzo have produced timeless hit songs that will forever live on.

His death has dismantled arguably the best East African dynamic music duo of our generation. Radio & Wizzo raised UG flag so high for the past 10 years, bringing home international awards, notably being the first UG artists to be nominated in prestigious BET Awards.

Their songs tackled different issues; be political, Social and religious. Songs like Nyambura, Magnetic, Ngenda mu maaso, Zuena, Abillity, Obudde among others became every ones anthem and would never leave any one seated.

Radio’s sweet voice could melt down every lady’s heart however rigid it could be. Guys used his catchy lines in the songs to vibe babes.

With such an incomparable talent, Good Lyf gave every big artist (Chamili, Bebe, Bobi) a run for their money, topping music charts not only in UG but across the continent.

Every artist wished to work with Radio; his talent contributed much to almost every established artist’s career through his ability to write and compose for them songs.

Artists like Rema, Irene Ntale, Juliana, Desire Luzinda and many others have benefited greatly from Radio’s magical poetry and lyrics.

The Skinny deceased singer made singing look so easier as his talent stood out and inspired many artists like Ykee Benda, Geosteady, King Saha and B2C among others to chase their dream.

Radio has died at age of 34 years and he is survived by three children. RIP Radio!
