Two weeks ago Ugandan born singer DJ Michael popularly known as King Micheal was facing an eviction over unpaid rent arrears accumulating to over UGX 4.8 million.
While speaking to NTV at the time King Micheal’s land lady said that the singer had not paid rent for over six months and and even for the months he had paid rent, it had always been a tag of war.
”I am an Estates Manager on my husband’s houses one of which a musician known as DJ Michael has been staying. We’ve had misunderstandings with him since February and he was always paying poorly, he only pays the months when he sleeps in the house and we first have to knock at his door to have payment” King Micheal’s land lady said at the time
She also stressed that his arrears had been pending even before the pandemic broke out in March. Michael later asked for a written document so that he can show it to Balaam for assistance.
It been over two weeks since the land lady came out to shame King Micheal on TV but the latest we are now getting is that the singer is erecting a house of his own in Kampala.
The Dance hall star even took to show media to show the progress of his soon to be new home
