Singer Nubian Li, Kanyama Eddie Mutwe and a bunch of 49 supporters of the National Unity Platform (NUP) led by presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine have been arraigned before the army court in Makindye today.

Nubian Li and the colleagues were charged with illegal possession of four rounds of ammunition according to court.

The prosecution stated that the 49 suspects and others still at large on January 3, at Makerere Kavule Kigundu zone, were found in possession of four rounds of ammunition which is a monopoly of the Defense Forces.

However what has surprised NUP ‘Komuledis in Situlago’ is Nubi’s bold head…his trademark dreads are no more! For the months he has spent on remand, Bobi’s right hand man had to lose his treasured hair style.

Losing is trademark wouldn’t hurt much but he and remanded fellows didn’t even vote for Bobi on 14th Jan. The Electoral commission already announced incumbent, Sevo as president-elect.

Meanwhile, Bobi Wine through his trusted lawyers, Wameli and Company Advocates is seeking to challenge Sevo’s victory . However NRM Secretary General Justine Kasule Lumumba claims her party is ready to grab the bull by the horns. Lumumba brags that the party has made all the necessary preparations to handle and put Bobi were he belongs.

“We have heard of somebody going to court. As a party we have all our declaration (of results) forms from all the polling stations. We have them ready and when we are served, we shall respond,” She said before adding;

“When the Electoral Commission (EC) got the full results, they gave us a copy. Our lawyers are going through the declaration of results forms to see what is missing so that the secretary general can provide the necessary support.”
