Singer Eddy Kenzo accident; he joins Chamili, Bobi Wine, Bebe Cool, Ykee Benda and four other UG artists who have ever survived car accidents
Our artists love cruising in sleek rides. We have over the time witnessed them ship in expensive posh cars to suit their celebrity status.
Artists like Ragga Dee, Bobi Wine, Bebe Cool and Chameleone have inspired the current crop of young artists to also work harder and purchase the big boy toys.
Artists like Sheebah and Spice Diana are among the very few female musicians rubbing shoulders with men when it comes to rides. Sheebah drives a Volkswagen while Spice Diana cruises in Range Rover sport, convertible!

Most of the remaining artists drive ordinary cars but not complaining anyway.
However some of these artists have once narrowly escaped death while cruising their machines. And yes below is the list of UG artists who have been involved in nasty accidents but only for God to give them a second chance to live.
Ykee Benda
Last year in November, Ykee narrowly survived meeting the creator after he was involved in a nasty accident. According to the Mpaka Records CEO, he was destructed by a car on the opposite direction that flashed full lights, making him derail off the road and hit a nearby wall fence. He survived with minor injuries.
Grenade
Grenade also got involved in a car accident in 2019 while in Nateete. Apparently he was bonked by booze and dead drunk. According to eyewitnesses, his car reg no. UBF 318A was knocked by a speeding vehicle that was trying to dodge a pothole in the road.
The faded singer and TV personality rammed his Pegot car registration no. UAZ 407J at around midnight when traffic lights were not working. The accident happened 3 years back. Tuff B didn’t sustain any injuries but the car was left in a sorry state.
Eddy Kenzo
This one is the latest victim to join the list. Kenzo has today survived a nasty accident which left his car completely in a sorry state. Onlookers who rescued him tipped us that his car rolled countless times on a slippery wet Masaka Highway. He says he is stable condition now.
Bebe Cool
In 2020, Big Size Bebe Cool and wife Zuena also got involved in an accident as he was coming from Soroti. Bebe Cool sustained minor injuries but Bebe Cool’s wife and Zuena and DJ Brian are nursing serious injuries.
Pallaso
Pius Mayanja, popularly known as Pallaso was involved in an accident in 2017. The Ugandan singer, shared the news on social media, showing how bad his car had been wrecked.
Jose Chameleone
This one is a usual suspect…he is almost on every list and of course this one too. Chamili cheat death in 2009. Just as the music heavy weight was recovering from leg injuries sustained from Tanzania in 2008 , he again sustained fresh wounds from an accident that almost left him dead. He was knocked last night at 3:00am on his way from Club Silk by then his rival, Meddie Ssentongo.
Bobi Wine
There is something about the BBC- artists. They seem to have faced the same problems all through. In 2014 Bobi Wine revealed how he survived a deadly car accident as his was traveling in his wife Barbie’s Jeep Cherokee, which was rammed into by a speeding saloon car.
“I could have been pronounced dead last night after I got involved in a terrible car accident at the Electoral Commission traffic lights or rather traffic dummies since they don’t work past midnight. Everybody else who was involved is in hospital apart from me. I give thanks to the Almighty for my life,” he said after surviving.
Kato Lubwama;
Kato Lubwama nearly met his creator in 2018. He and pal Wakayima Musoke survived a nasty road accident enroute to Gulu for Bobi Wine bail hearing.
