2021 has been, yet again, a year for Sheilah Gashumba to reach new heights!

The 25-year-old socialite and brand influencer, has been on a winning streak, striking multi-million deals and also fallen in love again.

Her dreams of working on TV again came alive as she was hired by NBS TV, where she works as an entertainment pundit on the station’s After5 show. Apparently, her monthly take home is hefty!

And now the self-styled Lil Stunner has wrapped up the year with an International Award.

Sheilah Gashumba was crowned best Influencer of the Year at the 2021 ASEA awards on Wednesday, this week.

The African Social Entertainment Awards (ASEA), founded in 2018, celebrate the lifestyle and social entertainment of Africans.

The Mzansi based awards aim at appreciating the ever-growing social media industry and giving a factual presentation of Africans’ lifestyle to other continents.

Sheilah Gashumba beats Zari to claim Influencer of the Year

The 2021 ASEAs happened on Wednesday December 15, 2021. The awards were dished out via social media.

Uganda was represented by Zari Hassan and Sheilah Gashumba who were nominated in different categories.

They rubbed shoulders in the Influencer of the Year category and fans had to vote Gashumba against Zari as their best this year.

The former NTV The Beat presenter was the youngest nominee in the hugely contested category on the night.

By the end of the night, Sheilah humbled her competitors in the category.

Other nominees in that category were Nelisiwe Sibiya, Hillary Makaya, Zim Finest Lips, and Zim Laughter.
