New signing Nicholas Kasozi has returned in time for game day three of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League against Onduparaka FC.
Kasozi who is yet to play a competitive game for KCCA FC since his switch from SC Villa has been involved in team training and is part of that touched base in Arua last night.
Speaking to the media in a pre-match press conference on Wednesday morning ahead of the game on Friday 19th October, KCCA FC Manager Mike Mutebi had this to say about players that have returned from the sickbay.
Mutebi said: “We are delighted to have a few of our players like Nicholas Kasozi and Tom Ikara back from injury. This is a big boost going into this game. Kasozi has been unfortunate since he came to the club.
The KCCA boss added: “He has had two injury setbacks both coming in pre-season but the lad has put in a great shift and adhered to the rehabilitation procedures and is now fit to play. I will launch him against Onduparaka.”
He hailed the star midfielder: “Kasozi is one of those players I rate highly and can compare his playing style to that of Andrea Iniesta.”
On Ikara’s return, Mutebi held: “Goal keeper Ikara is also back from injury and I hope we can use him in a number of games this season. Julius Poloto should be back for the game against Bright Stars FC next week on Tuesday 23rd October 2018.”
