People power lined blogger Ashburg Kato surprised many supporters in the opposition fraternity after publicly coming out to accept an assortment of donations from promoter Balaam and the first son Muhoozi Kainerugaba
The act of receiving food and money on behalf of some financially constraint bloggers wasn’t as bad in it’s self but the mere fact that Ashburg is one of Bobi Wine’s right hand men ultimately exposed the Kyandondo MP as weak and unable to look out for his lose friends and associates during these covid times
Ashburg’s decision to accept food donations from the so called NRM junta was generally viewed as a sign of betrayal especially since at the beginning of the crisis he made a post attacking journalist for crying out for food
To share how deeply hurt the entire people power fraternity is about Ashburg’s actions, renown music promoter Suudiman conquered with the majority of supporters by revealing how the controversial blogger sold his soul for money

”What kills a man begins as an appetite. The issue of “People Power leaning” Blogger, Ashburg Katto has divided public opinion with many saying, with or without his allegiance to Bobi Wine, food comes first. Here is my humble opinion. I have no problem with anybody who looks for survival in times like this. Ashburg was right. He was however wrong for opting to become the face of the handouts. I know Balaam. He is a calculative politician. Forget DJs and other people he donated to. Ashburg Katto is the biggest fish in his pond. He will hang him to dry.
I’ve personally stood by Ashburg during the time of his ‘kidnap’ which appeared stage managed.
The inner circle in People Power know about him.
For a Blogger who first blasted journalists for asking for food, he shocked many. Today, Ashburg is happy with a full belly. He has food. But it is disrespect to People Power and Our president Bobi Wine. Did he call Bobi Wine asking for food before running to Balaam? He has sold his soul for a few coins. His fans in Uganda and in the diaspora who have supported him are divided.
He is an embarrassment. Ashburg, you will choke on that food. Its sad. Bobi Wine will never forsake us. The rest will wear our red Berets but time is weeding out the snakes. That said, never underestimate the power of Sorry. Your apology awaits. Suudiman
