Kampala woman Mp hopeful Stella Nyanzi will on Wednesday the 5th August 2020 be vetted by the Forum For the Democratic Change (FDC) Party as the flag bearer for Kampala Woman legislator.
The vetting process is taking place at the party headquarters in Najjanankumbi between 9 am to 5 pm handling other prospective candidates.
The Forum for the Democratic Change (FDC) party has nominated Dr. Stella Nyanzi for the position of Kampala Woman Member of Parliament.
only Stella Nyanzi had been nominated for the Kampala woman MP seat.
Nyanzi is expected to tussle it out with Faridah Nambi, the daughter of National Resistance Movement (NRM) vice-chairperson Moses Kigongo and NUP /People Power Lawyer Shamim Malende.
Hon Nabillah Nagayi Ssempala is apparently the Kampala Woman MP on FDC ticket, However, she recently clashed with the FDC secretariat when she was blocked from returning nomination papers for the post of lord mayor.
Despite accusations from Nabillah that FDC bigwigs were behind it, all the secretariat argued that she handed in her papers a day after the deadline.
