Ssegirinya Swears in
This afternoon Ssegirinya Muhammed aka Mr. Updates has been sworn in as the Kawempe North legislator after returning to Uganda yesterday evening.
Parliament today 20th May 2021 concludes the official swearing-in of MP elects to the 11TH parliament.
Ssegirinya appeared clad in a nevi blue suit looking stronger and fit although unstable, he was being supported by 2 helpers.
He took to the podium and swore his oath of allegiance and Member of parliament using the Koran before moving to address the media.

The Kawempe North legislator told journalists that he has suffered a liver complication that could have destroyed his liver and that it requires him to receive treatment for 8 solid years before he can recover or get a liver transplant.
Prior to his return from Kenya, the now MP allegedly asked for permission from the clerk of parliament to allow him take oath via zoom but was turned down.
Ssegirinya has recently returned from a hospital in Nairobi, Kenya where he had been transferred following his release from Kitalya government prison on bail.
He was transferred after he developed stomach complications and diagnosed that he had liver complications and had been poisoned.
Ssegirinya says he is still undergoing treatment and will be returning to Kenya.
