Bebe Cool brags about owning to houses cooler than Diamond’s

When one comes up with a list of artists beefed up with controversy and showbiz, trust us Bebe Cool tops that list!

Bebe Cool shuts down Diamond Platnumz comparison

Besides music, Bebe’s name has largely remained on people’s lips year in, year out, largely because the star singer mastered the game of courting controversy and showbiz.

With no hit song bossing airwaves, Bebe Cool makes one controversial statement and boom! He trends for about four months. He is so good at wreaking havoc and effortlessly making headlines when, for example, he drops a new song!

The 44-year-old outspoken musician has been musically as silent as a graveyard this year until a fortnight ago when he dropped ‘Gyenvudde’, an inspirational jam which has somewhat met with lukewarm reception.

Armed with vast experience of 20 years plus in the game, Bebe knew which buttons to press so he could gain people’s attention and push the song. Speaking during an interview with NBS TV After5 crew on Tuesday this week, the master of showbiz dropped one step as he shut down comparisons made between him and Tanzania star, Diamond Platnumz…and guess what? He is trending all over social media platforms.

Bebe claims Diamond is a hoax

Bebe Cool bragged about owning two swanky houses better than any belonging to Diamond, adding that he could be richer than the TZ star.

He said that the Boy from Tandale just buys YouTube views for his songs just to hoodwink the public. Seemingly very irritated with the comparison, the Gagamel chief also revealed how Diamond hired four cars and lied to the public that he had bought them for his mum and baby mama, Tanasha Donna.

“…when you have a look at Diamond’s ka house there is no way you can compare it with my two mansions. Last year when NTV asked us to record videos in our houses you all saw how terrible the interior of his house was…” Bebe dropped a bombshell.

“…it is a wrong perception to hype someone over YouTube views because you all know the truth that those views are just bought. Diamond has never performed on concerts, not even quarter than the biggest concerts I have ever performed but you will find that you will lavish praises on him for how big he is. Just to remind you, Tanzania has had bigger artists before who traded their music without social media. The likes of Professor Jay and Mr. Nice had it all,” he burst Diamond’s bubble.
