Ugandan politician, comedian actor and businessman, Kato Lubwama, is out of danger and on the right path to full recovery.

Kato Lubwana, who has in the past weeks been intensively reported in critical condition and on a single occasion dead, has been discharged from Medicana Hospital in Konya, Turkey.

Uganda’s ambassador to Turkey, Stephen Mubiru also visited the former Rubaga South Member of Parliament, in hospital where he is recovering from surgery.

Thank you, His Excellency Ambassador Steven Mubiru, Uganda’s Ambassador to Turkey for the courtesy call on me,” Kato Lubwama stated.

In the photo that he captioned the statement above, Kato Lubwama appeared to be in a good health and blooming as he stood between the ambassador and another gentleman, dismissing the viral reports about his worrying health.

Earlier last month, one of Kato Lubwama’s close friends shared a video indicating that the later’s condition was deteriorating and needed prayers from fellow countrymen and women.

This sparked grave panic among Ugandans as some of his friends suggested a fundraising campaign to foot the highly escalating medical bills, a move that Kato himself immediately turned down.

Kato Lubwama’s worrying health first made it to the news in 2020 when he was admitted at Medipal International Hospital, Kampala where he is said to have undergone various surgeries.

The Afri Diamonds Drama Group director was later referred to Mulago National Referral Hospital’s Uganda Heart Institute where he was diagnosed with triple vessels disease.

He is expected to return to Uganda this month.
