Lone singer and Goodlyf founder, Douglas Mayanja alias Weasel Manizo, has fled his Makindye-based Neverland house.
We have exclusively obtained information that Weasel abandoned the house soon after he reportedly battered his lover and baby mama, Sandra Teta.
Ssempa village Local Council I Chairperson, Nassuna Bukaalami told Galaxy TV that her neighbour, Weasel, has since declined to appear before her village committee.
She also revealed that since she took office, she has not received visits from Weasel’s lover for any reason.
Bukaalami was quick to note that before Weasel’s business partner, Mowzey Radio’s death, they worked well but said that after Radio’s demise, she has never set eyes on Weasel.
In fact, she noted that since the matter of Weasel beating up his lover came to her notice, Weasel has not been seen anywhere near his house.
It is not clear where Weasel is living and for which reasons.
However, sources say that Weasel has another home in Entebbe, Wakiso district and suggest that the feather-weight-like singer could be residing there.
By press time, Weasel was not readily available for a comment.
However, in an interview with an online publication last week, Weasel said he “can’t run away from my home.”
He was being asked about reports that he fled Neverland over Radio’s ghost visits but he noted that “Radio died, I miss him, but I am stronger.”
“I am not going to cry forever. I am a lion, not a coward, but I usually spend nights away from Neverland because I have other houses in Kampala and Entebbe,” Weasel said.
