Ykee Benda reveals concert date
Singer, Songwriter and producer, Wycliff Tugume, alias Ykee Benda, has announced his concert date.
In the most recent past, the music industry has seen concerts happen. Fik Fameica, David Lutalo, Juliana Kanyomozi, B2C and Gravity Omutujju among others.
Coming after a long time without holding concerts following the Covid-19 outbreak in early 2020, the music industry seems ready to throw concerns at the fans.
Sheebah, Spice Diana and Jose Chameleon have scheduled concerts for December and January respectively.
Ykee Benda reveals concert date
Appearing on the Zzina Big Bang last Friday, Benda announced March 3, 2023 as his concert date.
However, he remains undecided about the venue.
“It’s not Cricket Oval. Not Serena. Anywhere else,” Benda said.
The Kireka boy says that his kind of fan base prefers enclosed spaces to open grounds.
“I love an enclosed place. Even my majority fan base is there. It’s good to know your audience,” the Mpaka Records boss said.
Outside Serena, literally Freedom City and Hotel Africana remain options in Kampala.
Benda has held a concert at Serena before but with Serena out of the way, it remains to be seen where he takes his concert next.
