Ministry of Health has finally banned Eezzy’s banger, Tumbiza sound from airwaves.
In a document we have managed to set our eyes on, it states; ” It has been noted with concern that there is a song being broadcasted on electronic and social media with messges contradicting the Ministry of Health standard operating proceedures on COVID-19 prevention titled “Tumbiza Sound”. the message in the song has in turn caused misinformation among different audiences and subsequently creating complacency among public.”
“This is therefore to request you to ban the airing of the song on all mass media channels so the public is not misled”, the letter written UCC reads.
Eezzy’s “Tumbiza Sound” has been one of the most trending songs in Uganda today but now you will never hear it rock the airwaves.
However Eezzy real names, Eric Opoka, is not bothered with the ban as he claims to have potential or sketching another bloody jam even bigger and better.
“Even if the song (Tumbiza Sound) is banned, I know I have the capability to release a song that is even better than this one because I write my music” he bragged recently.
In Tumbiza Sound, Eezzy sings about how the government should let bars resume business so that party animals can get back to what they do best.
The singer points out how the partiers are ready to abide by the set Standards Operating Procedures in order to avoid the spread of COVID-19 at the bars.
He also sings about how the extended lockdown and crack down on bars and other hangouts has made Uganda such a boring place to be and wants things to change.
