Info reaching our gossip desk confirms that celebrated media personality and award winning Journalist Solomon Serwanjja has resigned from NBS TV.

Serwanjja’s resignation and departure has been confirmed by his bosses at the Naguru based media house. However, reasons for his departure have been swept under the carpet.

The official letter from Next media acknowledges the remarkable work Serwanjja has done for the company for the years he has been their employee.

“Solomon Serwanjja will be leaving Next Media services at the end of July,2021, as he looks to focus on his personal endeavors in the investigative journalism field and more. Solomon’s contribution, especially to NBS Television newsroom cannot be overstated and will for long live in memories of everyone that watches the political Command Center”, the letter reads.

Before joining NBS TV, Solomon also worked as a news anchor and reporter for several television stations in East Africa including NBS TV, KTN News, NTV Uganda, UBC TV.

In 2019 Serwanjja was awarded the Komla Dumor Award, an annual award given by the BBC to celebrate African journalists.

Solomon Serwanjja is married to Vivian and they have four children: Amani, Imani, Upendo and Asante.
