TM TV is a new television station based in Kizungu, Masaka City that is looking forward to changing the game.

Justine Nameere’s TM TV, the first television in Greater Masaka, has carried out a three-day audition to identify homegrown talent from Greater Masaka to take on different shows on TM TV.

Award-Winning Director and Actor, John Ssegawa were the Lead Judge. Other Judges included Business Mogul and former Super Model, Mrs. Fadhila Saad. The auditions excited Greater Masaka and over 200 participants have so far shown up from the different districts of Greater Masaka especially Masaka City! The program was powered by Hill Water and Marple Leaf Hotel, the biggest hotel in Masaka City.

John Segawa said he was impressed by the great TV talent hidden in Greater Masaka and thanked Nameere Justine for starting the first TV station in Greater Masaka and more so for giving job priority to homegrown talent, from Greater Masaka.

The successful contests so far include the very talented MC Jackson Turyasigirwa from Masaka City; Birungi Christine from Kijjabwemi; Mutabaazi Meddi from Kalungu District; David Kiwummulo from Kalangala District and Benedicto Mulondo from Lwengo district, who is gifted with a deep silky voice and a demeanor so perfect for the news!

A one Ssensuwa from Bukomansimbi amused the Judges and spectators when he kept changing clothes every time that the judges would reject him.

TM TV ended up taking him on for the role of comic field reporter which sent the crowd into cheers.
TM TV will be launched by the Rt Hon Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja on Saturday, the 30th of October 2021.
