Kyetume Football club have sacked head coach Charles Livingstone Mbabazi. This news comes after the Mukono based side suffered a 3-1 defeat to Mbarara City over the weekend.

Kyetume FC chairman Ruben Kiberu Kaggwa has decided to sack Mbabazi after months since being appointed as the club headcoach. The club is set to reappoint Alex Isabirye Musongola as their new head coach.

The former Uganda Cranes player has previously handled the Somalia National team, Bright Stars, Lweza, Masavu, Kyetume, Mbarara City, Onduparaka and lately Wakiso Giants.

Mbabazi is among the backroom staff of Johnathan McKinstry in the Uganda Cranes technical docket.

He managed two wins, five draws and suffered three defeats in the ten league games at Kyetume FC. He leaves the Mukono outfit in 11th place with 11 points, they will next host SC Villa on Tuesday 2nd March.

Mbabazi will regret not respecting the club’s technical director Jackson Mayanja who he has been at loggerheads with and his sacking means Alex Isabirye will be incharge of his first game at the club against the 16-time league champions sports club Villa at Njeru Technical Centre.
