When Selecta Jeff started working on “Party O’clock”, he wanted to create a party anthem that would capture the energy and vibrance of Ugandan music, but add something new that could appeal to audiences abroad. He draws on influences across the Afrobeats and Hip-Hop landscape, finding a unique blend of modern vocal styles. In this way, he is appealing to a younger Ugandan audience as well as listeners abroad.
Although Tarley is a relatively new artist, he has quickly caught the attention of big names from Nigeria, Kenya, and Tanzania, all of whom are anticipating collars with him.
