Pallaso hits back at Bebe Cool for awarding his song little marks

Whenever Bebe Cool releases his annual list of Best performing artists and songs in a given year, he leaves some artists sneezing.

At the end of 2021, the outspoken veteran artist yet again compiled a list of cream artists, who according to him, out-performed others.

On the Bebe Cool List 2021, he named artists like Liam Voice, Sheebah, Spice Diana, Azawi, Eddy Kenzo, Mudra, Zex, Vinka and Pallaso, who he claimed to have one Nalonda Nemala hit among the songs he dropped last year.

“It’s been a good second consecutive year for Pallaso with Nalonda Nemala as the major hit from him this year but also followed it up with Mpa Love, Ani oyo which were fairly good songs, Good job Done,” Bebe posted on his Facebook wall.

In an interview with NBS TV, the 44-year-old further explained that in 2021, Pallaso did not impress as much as he did in 2020, despite topping the ‘Bebe Cool List’.

He fussed that unlike Nalonda Nemala, other songs were just half-hit songs, a statement which is still making the reigning Zzina Awards Artist Of The Year winner sneeze.

This week on Monday when Mpa Love hit a Million views on YouTube, Pallaso took to his Instagram page and made his feelings known as he tactfully hit back at Bebe Cool for downplaying his craft.

“Bebe cool said it’s a half song. I want to thank every one that has lifted my half song this high.” He captioned the post.
