Tunisia giants, Club Sportiff Sfaxien jetted in yesterday aboard Fly Emirates flight from Dubai and touched down Entebbe international airport at 1:30pm ahead of CAF Confederation Cup Play Off First Leg clash slated to take place this Saturday, January 12th, 4pm at St. Mary’s Stadium – Kitende.

A 39-man delegation comprising of 20 players plus19 officials are now accommodated at Lake View Hotel Entebbe.

In related development, The Venoms medical team have released injury updates ahead of tomorrow’s encounter.

Right-back, Fred Okot  will have to wait to make his continental debut for Vipers after suffering a knee injury during 3-1 friendly win over Kyambogo United.

Goalkeeper, Bashir Ssekagya has returned to light training and doubtful to face the Tunisian giants. Ssekagya hasn’t featured for the Venoms since suffering a knee injury during 1-0 away loss to Algeria’s CS Constantine in the Caf Champions League.

Left-back, Aggrey Madoi is ruled out after picking up injury during the barren stalemate with Tooro United at St Mary’s stadium.

Vipers warmed up for this important clash in the club history with a 3-0 demolition of Onduparaka in the Startimes Uganda premier league fixture on Tuesday.

After Saturday’s clash, the return leg will take place a week later on Sunday, January 20th at the stadium in Sfax Tunisia.
