Rumor started spreading like wild fire suggesting that NBS TV had lost the services of one of their top prized journalist, Bashir Kazibwe Mbaziira.
Both Bashir and NBS TV management had remained tight-lipped about the rumor, not until today morning that everything has come to light.
It turns out that Bashir has already joined City Tycoon and socialite SK Mbuga’s new TV station, STV. And to make matters more interesting is Uganda Journalists Association’s chief has teamed up with Tamale Mirundi, who fell out with NBS TV over Mafia related reasons.
Now the Kamwokya based station has finally spoken out on Bashir’s sudden exit. In the official letter, the management claims that their man resigned because he wanted time off to chase his political dreams.
“Next media services and Bashir Kazibwe have agreed to part ways as the latter attempts a career in active politics”, the letter partly reads.
Meanwhile SK Mbuga is going all out in the TV business as he has already hired services of Sheilah Gashumba and God’s Plan.
The couple will be hosting a show dubbed God’s Plan & Gash Lounge whose content is owned and produced by Sheilah.
