Diamond Platnumz has warned his nemesis, Harmonize, to stop chasing clout using his name.

Speaking during an interview with Wasafi FM, a media house he owns, the 32-year-old singing sensation was asked to clear air on allegations that he used to fight Harmonize.

However, he instead accused the former Wasafi Record artist of forcing beef with him.

In November last year, Harmonize claimed that his former boss kicked him out of the record label after his career started blossoming. He alleged that started seeing him as his rival.

Harmonize further explained that he reached out to Diamond’s mum, to intervene but it was all in vain.

He added that perhaps Diamond and co mistook his dream chasing moves for trying to overtake or over shadow him, accusing the Wasafi CEO of intentionally creating a dispute with any successful Tanzanian artist.

Responding to allegations, the multi-award winning superstar said that however much Harmonize tries to disrespect him, he only had good intentions for him. He said he no longer cares about what Harmonize says about him.

“There are things I don’t follow up on or even listen to. He has no respect towards me but at some point in life, you cannot deny people their right to speak. We (Wasafi) don’t have any intention to misuse artists,” he said.

He added; “I don’t look at money, but my aim is that artists can succeed. It is not easy to sign artists and they shine even after they are independent. I used to get hurt with what he said after he left, but I no longer care. People know what is right and wrong. I believe in myself so much. Everyone has their own path.”

Diamond insisted that artists should instead channel their energy to hustling harder to better themselves.

“You cannot listen to my songs only, and so I do not have any intentions to bring anyone down. Nobody can bring you down, but your work. There are so many opportunities for all of us artists.

We should stop focusing on Diamond as an artist. You will not grow if you keep on following and beefing on each other. But that guy should stop chasing clout, using my name.”
